Full Day Tour to Linlithgow Palace, The Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies

9am to 6.30pm
This tour can depart from Edinburgh or Glasgow or both locations depending on interest.

This guided tour will first stop at Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. You have the option to pay to enter the palace, alternatively you can view the building from the outside and enjoy a stroll on the beautiful grounds free of charge. The journey continues to The Falkirk Wheel where you will board a boat trip along the canal and transit through The Falkirk Wheel, an impressive boat lift linking the Union Canal with the Forth and Clyde Canal. Afterwards, time for a light lunch at the onsite café (included) before continuing the short distance to The Kelpies. These are the world’s largest equine sculptures and they are majestic up close! There is an option to take a guided walking tour inside the sculptures themselves. The tour returns back to Edinburgh or Glasgow in the late afternoon.

Half Day Tour of Glasgow with traditional Scottish Lunch

Dates available: 23 and 24 September 2016
9am to 1pm

This guided tour will begin with a stop at Glasgow Cathedral and then past the Tollbooth Steeple. From here we follow the River Clyde and into Pollok Park where you can visit Pollok House, sometimes described as Scotland’s Downton Abbey. From here we travel back to the city centre stopping on the way to admire the Kelvingrove Art Galleries. You will then be dropped off in the city centre with an option to enjoy lunch (2 courses) in a traditional pub.

OPTIONAL ADD ON: 2 Course Traditional Lunch: £21.00 per person (no drinks included)

Half Day Tour of Edinburgh with traditional Scottish Lunch

This guided tour will spend the morning exploring the beautiful city of Edinburgh, starting with a panoramic tour of the New Town and Old Towns and the Scottish Parliament building. Enjoy a visit to Edinburgh Castle – one of the highlight attractions of the city. You will then be dropped off in the city centre with an option to enjoy lunch (2 courses) in a traditional pub.
