Drumossie Hotel, Inverness

One of the highlights of the World Canals Conference 2016 will be the PBA Gala Dinner and Awards, sponsored by Peter Brett Associates, which will take place in the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel – a listed art deco building on the outskirts of Inverness. The venue is set in nine acres of parkland and offers stunning views over the Moray Firth.

The dress code for the evening will be Black Tie or Scottish Highland Dress. Find details of local kilt hire here.

Pre-dinner drinks sponsored by Pickering’s Gin will be served on arrival, followed by an awards ceremony. After a three-course meal with wine and a dram of local distillery Tomatin‘s Legacy Single Malt, guests will have the chance to enjoy traditional Scottish entertainment and dancing, provided by Highland Cèilidh.

Featuring a line-up of fiddle, accordion, piano and drums, Highland Cèilidh play traditional Scottish music with an energy and drive that will have you dancing all night long! The band also comes with an experienced dance caller who is guaranteed to get everyone dancing. Take a look below!
